Posting Issue

I began to create a new thread, but I needed to do some research, so I took several minutes to research before I came back to my post. When I tried to post the new topic, I was asked to re-login (some timeout must have expired)...much to my chagrin, when I logged back in, my new post was gone.

Anyway to tweak this function so that the timeout is longer or the post does not get lost if a user is automatically logged out?
