Report of the U.S. Congress: the cost of the Iraq war nears the cost of the Vietnam War

واشنطن- وكالات - أظهر تقرير للكونغرس الامريكى ان اجمالى تكلفة حرب العراق تشارف كلفة حرب فيتنام وأن الانفاق الامريكى على العمليات العسكرية بعد هجمات 11 سبتمبر عام 2001م قد فاق ذلك .

WASHINGTON - The agencies - the report showed the U.S. Congress that the total cost of the Iraq war nears the cost of the Vietnam war and that U.S. spending on military operations after the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 has surpassed that.

وكشف التقرير الجديد لخدمات الابحاث بالكونغرس ان ادارة واشنطن أنفقت 648 مليار دولار على عمليات العراق العسكرية فى ذات مستوى تكلفة حرب فيتنام وقدرها 686 مليار دولار وضعا فى الاعتبار القيمة الصرفية للدولار عام 2008م .

The report revealed that the new Congressional Research Services Department that Washington has spent $ 648 billion on Iraq military operations at the same level of the Vietnam war cost of $ 686 billion dollars placed in the account value of $ Exchange in 2008.

وحرب فيتنام هى ثانى أكثر الحروب العسكرية كلفة بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية .

The Vietnam War was the second most expensive military wars after World War II.

ومنذ هجمات 11 من سبتمبر بلغت المخصصات التى رصدتها واشنطن لعمليات مكافحة الارهاب فى كل من أفغانستان والعراق وبقاع أخرى من العالم 860 مليار دولار.

Since the attacks of 11 September amounted to allocations provided by Washington for anti-terrorism operations in Afghanistan, Iraq and other parts of the world 860 billion dollars.

وكان مدير الموازنة بالبيت الابيض ميتش دانيالز قد قدر فى أواخر عام 2002م أن تتكلف حرب العراق ما بين 50 مليار الى 60 مليار وعاد رئيس حكومة الاحتلال الامريكى بول بريمر بعد عام ليرفع التقديرات الى 100 مليار دولار.

The White House budget director Mitch Danielz had estimated in late in 2002 that the Iraq war will cost between 50 billion to 60 billion returned President of the Government of the U.S. occupation Paul Bremer after year to raise the estimated 100 billion dollars.

ورغم التكلفة الباهظة الا أن استهلاك حرب العراق من اجمالى الناتج المحلى الامريكى هو الاقل من بين النزاعات العسكرية التى تخوضها واشنطن وبلغت تكلفة الحرب العالمية الثانية 1ر4 تريليون دولار بالقيمة الحالية للدولار والتى مثلت 36 فى المائة من اجمالى الناتج المحلى فيما استنفدت حرب فيتنام 3ر2 فى المائة منه .
