Zebari: Iraqi parliamentary delegation will visit France mid next month to open a new page of relations between the two parties
Revealed a member of the Foreign Relations Committee in the Iraqi parliament from the Kurdistan Alliance MP Abdul Bari Zebari said the Iraqi French Friendship Association will organize a visit to an Iraqi parliamentary delegation representing all political blocs to the French capital Paris in mid-October next.
Zebari said in an interview with "Uzmatik", today, Saturday, that this visit is the invitation of the President of the French Parliament, aims to open a new page of relations between Baghdad and Paris and development in all fields, especially economic and cultural. "
Zebari added that a "visit also aims to develop relations with the European Parliament, chaired by Paris, through the use of European parliamentary experience, as well as coordinating relations between the Iraqi Parliament and the European Parliament."
Zebari stressed that "the Iraqi parliamentary delegation with the European Parliament will discuss steps to be taken to facilitate travel and the movement of Iraqi citizens to the European Union, through the simplification of procedures for the Iraqi citizen a visa to these countries."
