GOP site seeks platform ideas.. And they need em....
WASHINGTON - National Republican leaders, led in part by U.S. Sen. Richard Burr, today will unveil a Web site encouraging national participation in shaping the GOP's 2008 party platform.
The platform site, which is at www.gopplatform2008.com, will create an online community allowing anyone with access to a computer to offer ideas and comment on others' ideas. People will also be able to submit videos explaining their views.
The all-inclusive online effort comes as presumptive Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain continues his work to keep the party's most conservative and religious members inside the GOP fold and engaged through the November election.
Think you have the answer?
Instead of taking your anger out on the Democrats,
be constructive.
Let em know.

Bookmarked!!! many thanks for the link!!
Already submitted my first two text messages. It looks as if some libs have co-opted the site already, judging by some of the comments I've seen.

This is going to be on my daily list of things to do.
Maybe even before checking here.
Not really, but at least the #2 thing for the day.

Hopefully, they will consider the Taxas GOP platform:
"In this, a presidential year, it advocates prayer in school, getting out of the United Nations, teaching intelligent design with evolution in science classes, repealing of the minimum wage, declaring illegal immigrants criminals and outlawing abortion with no exceptions.
It opposes gay marriage, civil unions and the custody of children by gays.
There's a call to repeal the McCain-Feingold campaign finance law, sponsored by the party's presidential nominee, and to oppose the Trans-Texas Corridor, the brainchild of Gov. Rick Perry.
Republican Bill Calhoun of Houston cautioned against calling affirmative action "simply racism disguised as social value." He said such language discourages blacks from joining the GOP.
Of all the evils in Washington that the Texas GOP took aim at this week, removing art with naked people from public view was high on the list"

No Hijacking Artie....
Stay on subject.
If I'm gonna be taken to task for diversion,
the rules will apply to everyone.
Dispute the facts.
No changing the subject to "the evil dems" because when I respond in that fashion,
its whine-time at the old forum.
"Zimmy ALWAYS hijacks.... WAHHHHHH......"
Just yesterday, another User posted this unfounded spew.
Zimmer sits the fence on all subjects. Zimmer is just an "OBSERVER", Never offering ideas for change or improvement. Zimmer settles for Status Quo.
So I offer up an idea and SURPRISE ....... IT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH for you.
Just the same-ol drive-by bash and run...
No Ideas... no solutions....
Your'e one of those
that drove the rest of us away from the party.
All hat and no cattle.
Feeling all warm and fuzzy over your canidate?
You got him because you deserve it.
The only reason Obama's winning isn't because he's a great man,
its because your "Cardboard Conservative" values dont stand up in the rain.
You have the opportunity to help change it.
Lets see if you can walk the walk, instead of just talking the talk.
Stop your whining and man up.

Now Zim, "one of those" whom? you have no clue!
And a hat nor cattle I never did do!
Just the same-ol drive-by bash and run
is a Liberal tactic and just no fun.
The only reason Obama's winning isn't because he's a great man,
its because those damned Liberals just don't understand
You can't run a country with a rock star band!
Walking your walk won't keep you on top
cause you can't walk right wearing flip flops!
