Media protesting to send government delegation to the Conference of Ministers of Information of Non-Aligned

Criticized
the media circles to send government delegation without the
representation of the Iraqi media to participate in the Conference of
Ministers of Information of Non-Aligned Countries, held in Venezuela
early this month.
These circles and invited the government to
deal with the media on the basis of high professional and student
academic Dr Hashim Hassan media philosophy professor at Baghdad
University that represent delegations participating in the conference
center of the media briefing, expressing fears of a return to state
control over the media.
With Emad Al-Abbadi said the information advisor to Diyar satellite channel, the dispersion suffered by the Iraqi Media body.
Iraqi
journalists face several challenges notably the absence of law protects
them from attacks against several of them by individuals protections
government officials, in addition to being targeted by armed groups,
making Iraq the world's most dangerous place on the work of journalists.
