Sorry, forgot about that. My babies woke up, and I had to take care of them, my girlfriend left with the laptop with the full version of Adobe on it. Will revisit that later. Sad

No Colt 1911, I like my Glock and I am not really into purses and shoes. Don't get me wrong, I have my fair share of both but it is not high on my list when blowing disposable income. The Mossberg I keep in the bedroom. I keep my Glock on me at all times or in my bedroom. The Tec-22 is in the guest room. The AK-47 is in my two sons room. The AR-15 is in the Den. The Python is in the living room. They are all safely stored but ready to be used quickly.

You know GSG, when I saw all that artillery I was gonna say no way GSG is a girl, but then I noticed the bedspread. Yep, shes a girl... With all that hardware I'd think you live over here in Mesa... Maybe even Apache Junction, but Scottsdale? Course theres always the Scottsdale Gun Club.

Carry on.

America is the greatest place on the planet. Don't misconstrude my 2nd Amendment God Given Right for some kind of fear or intrepidation. All of these guns are mostly for recreation. Only the Mossberg has a single purpose.

The AK and AR are for when the U.S. government becomes intolerably tyrannical or when the communists invade, whichever come first.

[size=18]Haha, the bedspread eh. I am very girlie when it comes to certain things, but I am also a tomboy when it comes to others. Bear in mind I have 2 sons I will need to add to the arsenal within 5 years. I am native to the valley. Mesa, maybe north of Brown rd I might live in Mesa, AJ lol no way. Scottsdale or Cave Creek is the place to be. Although, when the Dinars hit, I'm packing up the family and moving to Wyoming. Will still keep the house in Scottsdale but I get to sweaty during the summer.

Say what? This is the part of America I dont understand, yes Im NRA all the way and own numerous guns, but this paranoid belief of the impending "communist invasion" or "intolerable tyranny" mixed with closets full of high-powered firearms to somehow protect yourself from your own government and your fellow citizens is slightly bizarre you have to admit.

Geo...Tell the intolerable tyranny part to the jews who survived the camps in WW2 ..and abut how bizarre it is to want to protect yourself from invasion etc...so many were being herded onto the trains.. still not believing it was their neighbors that they grew up with doing it...it was not so many years ago my friend ..I am with GSG on this...better safe than sorry...if they had taken a stand against.. in the beginning by just being willing to admit it really might be happening in their own homes many more would be alive today..highly unlikely for our country...but nothing is impossible..and everything is unpredictable..JMO

I would hope that the higher-side of humanity (Americans and other 1st World westerners) would be able to learn from a sordid historical past. But who knows, the majority of humans in the 21st century are fools, are easily brainwashed and led around like sheep into a slaughterhouse, unfortunately dragging down the rest of nature along with them.

Whatever..

It just seems odd to me that there is a segment of our society (thankfully small) that blends the mix of the strongest patriotic and religious dogma around with this paranoid belief that the sky is falling and the only way out is to start shooting. I guarantee if I felt that way the first thing I'd do is get a vasectomy, and the second thing would be to move to Greenland. Here is my suggestion.. Move out of the suburbs, get an ongoing prescription of zanax, and sit in front of the TV with nothing on but Nickelodeon 24/7.

Geo,

Its not that folks are afraid of people who are aware of history and have a healthy respect for those lessons. Its that folks are wary of the people who are aware of history and choose to ignore it as well as the people that just don't care about anything but living in today. That kind of foolishness needs to be guarded against in a thoughtful and sober mindset, so that things such as the holocaust do not occur simply for the lack of vigilance. Part of that lack of vigilance is a person giving up their right of self defence. Not offense, defense. There are plenty of evil folks that given the chance are willing to go on the offense should you lack a good defense. For the most part these folks are involved in everyday crimes, but in a grander scale they become tyrants who commit crimes that everyone tends to brand as genocide at a later date. Personally speaking I believe the boyscouts said it best:

Be Prepared.

I don't see the impending ambitions of communism as paranoia. Russia is certainly backpedaling on any reforms they made in the 90s. The culture war and legal war which started in the 1920s rages on within our borders regardless of the fall of the Soviet Union. Not to mention they still have how many nuclear weapons with the means to deliver them. Also, their biggest allies including China who's building a military for the sole purpose of challenging American carriers and subs. Lets also not forget about the economic war they have waged since the collapse of the Soviet Union. May I also remind everybody of the communist movements in South America, particularly Brazil, Bolivia, Columbia, Uruguay, Ecuador, Argentina, and Venezuela. This includes communist movements in Central America and in Mexico.

Its only a matter of time before they come for us, once the economic, culture, and legal war have weakened us further.

I am also a Jew and engage in an unconventional relationship. I do not need a lecture on the halocaust. Try 16 families in Europe and only four of them surving the death camps. I need not a lesson in what happened. We Jews made very good slaves. We did not cry out or argue or resist. I'm certain the NAZI's enjoyed us. The only lesson necessary for is for others to not allow ourselves to be escorted into the gas chamber again willingly.

As a Jew and an unconventional girl, when the time comes the gay movement (one of which I am not apart of and fully ashamed of) will be exterminated as their purpose for being useful idiots for the instigators of the culture and legal war will no longer be needed. Myself and my 2 boys will be the first to go. (Girlfriend is Catholic not Jew).

Lets not also forget the primary ambition of the people in the U.S. government is to separate us from our wealth and Liberty for the sole purpose of siezing more power in order to create dependence and ultimately subjugation.

Now my intention for this thread was to be fun. It was not really meant to start a 2nd Amendment debate.

I showed you mine, now you show me yours. bounce

I like your views GSG, but not a good idea to tell everyone and the
government what guns you have. Look what they did to the Katrina
survivors in New Orleans, The police even tackled an 80 year old lady
to take her gun away, Socialism at it's best....

Unless you live in the middle of nowhere and are off the grid, they already know not to mention I am a law abiding gun owner. Despite the downward spiral Arizona has take in the last 10 years or so it is still a free state. While that kind of tyranny may happen in Louisiana, there is no way it would fly here. We have been weakened by the influx of Northerners moving here but there is large segment of people that wait for the day when such a thing might happen. They typically live out in Cave Creek or New River area.

I fail to see the big risk. No one could match my picture to me personally. No one really knows who I am. If you are referring to the government they already know who I am and what I have. As I said, i am a law abiding gun owner. But just to be safe I have taken down the pic.
