The U.S. Agency for confirmation of a high northern Iraq's oil exports to the ten-fold over the past year

ذكر مكتب المفتش الأميركي العام لبرامج إعادة إعمار العراق أن معدل صادرات النفط عبر الأنبوب الرئيسي شمال العراق ارتفع إلى عشرة أضعاف خلال العام الماضي.

The Office of the Inspector General of the U.S. reconstruction programs of Iraq, the rate of oil exports through the main pipeline in northern Iraq has risen tenfold over the past year.

وعزا المكتب في تقرير نشره الجمعة ذلك إلى الانخفاض الحاد في وتيرة الهجمات التي تستهدف الأنبوب فضلا عن تطوير بنية تحتية جديدة لحمايته، وفقاً لما أوردته صحيفة نيويورك تايمز في عددها الصادر السبت.

The office attributed in the report published Friday that the sharp decline in the pace of attacks against the pipeline as well as the development of new infrastructure to protect it, according to the New York Times in its issue published on Saturday.

وأشار التقرير الى انعدام الهجمات على أنبوب النفط الرئيسي الذي ينقل النفط الخام من حقول شمالي العراق إلى تركيا منذ شهر يوليو/تموز الماضي تزامنا مع بدء مشروع أطلقته القوات الأميركية لتطوير بنية تحتية لحمايته.

The report pointed to the lack of attacks on the main oil pipeline which carries crude oil from fields in northern Iraq to Turkey since the month of July last coinciding with the start of the draft released by the American forces to develop the infrastructure to protect it.

وأدى ذلك في المحصلة الى حصول قفزة هائلة في حجم الصادرات النفطية اذ ارتفعت من معدل مليون برميل في الشهر إلى أكثر من 13 مليون برميل، وفقاً لما نقلت الصحيفة عن التقرير.

This led ultimately to obtain a huge leap in the volume of oil exports rising from the rate of one million barrels per month to more than 13 million barrels, according to newspaper quoted a report.
